Antiracist Resource Guide

A collection of books, videos, podcasts and other resources to promote a culture of anti-racism within UHealth

Where do I start?

We recognize many people seeking antiracist resources are starting on a journey that feels uncomfortable. The learning curve seems steep, and the inner reflection can be painful. Explore and challenge those feelings, and know that this discomfort is part of the process. And recognize the changing demographics of our state and how important this work is.

These resources are an excellent starting point.

If you have experienced a racist or bias incident at the University of Utah, you can report it.

Learn how you can actively use this awareness to uproot injustice and inequality in the world -- and replace it with love.

University of Washington professor Dr. Robin DiAngelo reads from her book "White Fragility: Why It's So Hard for White People to Talk About Racism," explains the phenomenon, and discusses how white people can develop their capacity to engage more constructively across race.

Carol Anderson, the Charles Howard Candler Professor of African American Studies at Emory University, discusses concepts from her book, "White Rage: The Unspoken Truth of Our Nation's Divide."
