COVID-19: Access to Law Library Resources: HOME

FAUST LAW LIBRARY REMOTE OPERATIONS

The Faust Law Library is physically closed.  However, library staff are working remotely.

Some services are unavailable at this time.

The library will respond to reference and circulation questions weekdays from 9:00AM - 5:00PM.

ONLINE & ELECTRONIC RESOURCES

Some databases might require access via VPN. Here's how to use the University's VPN:

  • Go to http://vpnaccess.utah.edu and choose 2FA-DuoSecurity from the dropdown menu.
  • Enter your uNID and password in the first two boxes.
  • Access the 2nd password from your DUO app. Go to your mobile device and open your DUO app, then click the key button. It will give you the 2nd password (should be a number with 6 characters).
  • Click “CONTINUE” to authorize Web VPN services.
  • Once you are in the Web VPN, ignore the AnyConnect button.
  • Enter the URL for the resource or website you need to go to in the top box where you see http://.

COURSE RESERVES & CASEBOOKS

Wolters Kluwer/Aspen has expanded their list of available digital offerings and created CasebookConnect.com/Free, a new site devoted to providing free access to currently available Connected Casebooks, PracticePerfect for Civil Procedure, and the video series that accompanies An Introduction to Constitutional Law: 100 Supreme Court Cases Everyone Should Know. They have also strengthened their partnership with VitalSource and added a complete library of available digital e-textbooks to the VitalSource Helps Program.


West/Foundation Press is offering complimentary eBook access to our casebooks for affected Students. Please have them call us at 877.888.1330 (ext.4) to setup their eBook, or they can email us at support@westacademic.com. We ask that they setup a West Academic account before they call in, this can be done at https://eproducts.westacademic.com/.

INTERLIBRARY LOAN & PHYSICAL ITEMS

All Interlibrary Loan (ILL) and physical item circulation is suspended. Any ILL or physical materials you currently have checked out will be renewed and no fines or fees will be charged.

You will be notified once Interlibrary Loan (ILL) and physical item circulation resumes.
