Sustainable Agriculture: International Organizations, U.S. Federal Government

UN Sustainable Development Goal #2: Zero Hunger

The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, provides a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity.  There are 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that guide progress towards addressing climate change and moving towards more sustainable human communities.

Use sources from the United nations, federal, state and local  government agencies for information about  agriculture, food and food security.

Non-Government Organizations

Non--Government Organizations (NGOs) are often a good source of information.  Look for NGOs involved with food and agriculture issues.
