About demographic research
Research in population demographics may use books, scholarly articles, maps, GIS data or numerical data sets.
Because population demographics is an interdisciplinary topic, it is often useful to use article databases that are not specific to population geography research. For instance, you may need to use a medical database for articles about epidemiology, or you may need to use a business database to find articles about marketing demographics.
Many population datasets are collected by government agencies. The United Nations is a good source for international population data.
