Writing 2010: Intro to Research

You've probably used Google or another search engine to do research before, either for a class paper or for your personal life (e.g. researching a car purchase or looking up your symptoms on WebMD).

But Google's results, while huge in number, are only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the amount of information  available.

That's where the library comes in!

The Marriott Library purchases access to a vast amount of information that isn't freely available via Google, so you as a University of Utah student can access the best information for your research projects. 

Don't pay for access to scholarly research, or just use what's available on Google - access the best research for free through the library!
