- Columbia Granger's World of PoetryThis resource is very helpful to students of poetry who wish to locate poetic works and identify within which publication the single piece has been published. Short biographies and abbreviated "Further reading lists" are provided. Notable Russian poets are included, such as Anna Akhmatova, Marina Tsvetaeva, Vladimir Mayakovsky, and Joseph Brodsky.

- Oxford Language DictionariesOLD provides access to complete dictionaries from English to Chinese, French, German, Italian, Russian, and Spanish, and vice versa. OLD offers a feature called "Language Web," which is a useful tool to linguistics students in order to view relationships between language groups.

- Anthropological Index OnlineAnthropological Index Online is the anthropological index to current periodicals held in the Anthropology Library at the Centre for Anthropology, The British Museum. Its holdings include some 4,000 periodical titles (1,500 current) in all branches of anthropology, linguistics, & folklore, from academic institutions and publishers around the world. At present this database contains some 1,900,000 bibliographical entries for books translated and published in over 130 countries (and 800 languages) and covers all disciplines: literature, social and human sciences, natural and exact sciences, art, history and so forth. - JSTORJSTOR (short for Journal Storage) is a database for archiving scholarly journals in the fields of humanities and social sciences. It provides full-text searches of digitized back issues of several hundred well-known journals including Eastern European Economics, Russian Linguistics, Slavic and East European Journal, and Slavic Review.
- Linguistics and Language Behavior Abstracts (LLBA)CSA Linguistics & Language Behavior Abstracts (LLBA) abstracts and indexes the international literature in linguistics and related disciplines in the language sciences. The database covers all aspects of the study of language including phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax and semantics. - Literary EncyclopediaWritten by over 1400 specialists from universities around the world, and currently providing over 3700 authoritative profiles of authors, works and literary and historical topics, with plans to publish at least 800 new profiles (1.6m words) in 2007. They list nearly 19,000 works by date, country and genre, and provide advanced software tools.
- MLA Bibliography (Modern Language Association)The MLA is the largest database for journal articles on literary topics. Entries date from 1963-present. Citations only. This is the largest and most comprehensive database for literary criticism in all languages. The MLA also covers, to a lesser degree, subjects such as folklore, linguistics, and film studies. In addition to journal articles, the MLA indexes book articles, books, and dissertations. It does not, however, index the book reviews included in literary journals.
- Project MUSEProjectMUSE offers full text of over 400 scholarly journals from over 100 publishers in the humanities and social sciences published by Johns Hopkins University Press.
- International Bibliography of Theatre & Dance wth Full Text (EBSCO)International Bibliography of Theatre & Dance with Full Text is the definitive research tool for the study of theatre and the performing arts. IBTD comprises a fully indexed, cross-referenced and annotated databank of over 60,000 journal articles, books, book chapters and dissertation abstracts on all aspects of theatre and performance in 126 countries.
