Academic Search Premier (an EBSCO database) is one of the largest multi-disciplinary databases that exists. For example, if you are interested in reviews of Lil Wayne's music (search: lil wayne AND music reviews). You will find articles from popular magazines and newspapers; you may even find the full-text of the article in colorPDF format. You can also find out about the newest treatments using stem cells (search: stem cell AND treatment) from scholarly and peer-reviewed journals. This is an excellent database to begin any research project. You may find that you need to broaden or narrow your topic (because you get too few or too many results. Using Boolean operators (AND, OR, NOT) will help you broaden or narrow your topic in this database.

To access ARTstor from off campus, you must first create an account while on campus. Go to the ARTstor homepage and click on the “Enter Here” link in the upper-right corner. On the next page, in that same location, click on “Register.” Enter a valid email address and create a password. You may choose to NOT receive email notices by un-checking the two boxes at the bottom of the registration. You will have off-campus access for 4 months from the last date you log in while on campus
