Why?

The Audio (as well as Video) Studios were placed in the Faculty Center as a way to group Course Development Projects with other partners like the Center For Teaching & Learning Excellence, Teaching & Learning Technologies and Instructional Media Service. The primary purpose was to help Faculty develop Audio (and Video) for curricular projects and online course development.

Right away, the Audio-Video Staff saw the potential for expanding the services to include: Graduate Students, Undergraduates and selected Community Groups.

The expectation to integrate sound and visual imagery into various curricular projects is ever expanding. The Audio and Video suite of services provides space, equipment and expertise to help multi media projects come to fruition.
