Special Collections

Special Collections is on the fourth floor of the library.  This is where we have many unique collections related to skiing, Western Americana, the 2002 Winter Olympics, and more!

Drop in to speak to them sometime to see what treasures only the University of Utah has in its collections and to see how you may be able to build research with the discoveries!

Book Arts

Book Arts at the Marriott Library is one of the top programs in its field.  The Marriott Library is proud of Book Arts and its program with Fine Arts.

You can take academic classes for the whole semester and workshops through Book Arts!  Academic classes are available as for-credit classes during the semester. Some of the workshops are offered at a fee for the one or few day classes, but plenty are free to those who register.

Check out the phenomenal work in artistry and stories created in their studio by people from every walk of life.

Audio Lab

The Audio Studio in the Marriott Library is part of Creativity & Innovation Services.  It is located on the first floor of the library in the Faculty Center near Mom's Cafe.

This service is available to graduate and undergraduate students, as well as faculty in order to maximize your work and output for excellence.

Video Lab

The Video Lab in the Marriott Library is part of Creativity & Innovation services.  It is also located on the first floor of the library in the Faculty center near Mom's Cafe.

The Video Studio can help you film, edit, and distribute your projects. Help is available on a wide range of equipment and topics.

The Video Studio has a continuing mission to support students and faculty by providing training, project management, and access to high quality equipment.
