If you need any assistance, please contact Mark England, the librarian for metallurgical engineering.

Metallurgical Engineering involves the study, innovation, design, implementation, and improvement of processes that transform mineral resources and metals into useful products that improve the quality of our lives.  Information found using the databases and other tools in this research guide include: alloys [mixtures of metals], mineral separation and processing, and engineering design of mineral or metal products used in environmentally responsible ways.  Metallurgical engineers design processes and products that minimize waste, maximize energy efficiency, increase performance, and facilitate recycling.
