InfoFair 2014: Women's Health, Sex & Gender Research Conference

The Spencer S. Eccles Health Sciences Library and the Center of Excellence in Women's Health co-sponsored a half-day conference focused on sex and gender differences research and women's health. The intent of the conference was to raise the visibility of University of Utah researchers who are considering sex and gender differences in their research. InfoFair 2014 consisted of a poster session, a conversation with poster authors, a panel on Campus Resources Available to Researchers, the keynote address and a panel on Incorporating Sex & Gender into the Research Process.


The Clifford C. Snyder, M.D. and Mary Snyder Lecture
The keynote speaker was Carolyn Clancy, M.D., Assistant Deputy Under Secretary for Health for Quality, Safety and Value U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.


Poster Session
A poster session preceded the formal presentations. Thirteen posters represented the richness of research conducted at the University of Utah. Posters were displayed in the Eccles Genetic Lobby at Noon. Poster presenters were available to discuss their work; the posters were on display throughout the conference.
