Utah Legal Resources: Utah Statutes

A collection of online legal research resources relating to Utah law and Utah government.

Did you know ...

Did you know the last time the Utah Code was re-codified was in 1953? As a result, the current Utah Code is referred to as the "1953 Code," even though many of the statutes have been amended, renumbered, or repealed, and many new statutes have been added.

You will find the "1953" designation on the volumes of the Utah Code Annotated, as well as in many references to the Code or particular statutes.
