Marriott Library Services & Spaces

This guide offers a virtual tour and introduction to the Marriott Library.

Spaces with Technology

  • The Knowledge Commons (Level 2): Over 250 Mac & PC computer stations and approximately 350 software packages
  • The Knowledge Commons (Level 2): 25 reservable group study rooms and over 25 collaborative spaces & Accessibility Room/CDA Library 
  • ProtoSpace (Level 2): The ProtoSpace offers 3D printingVR headsets & Visualization wallPodcasting booths, active study spaces, and much more.
  • Faculty Center: This center includes the Teaching & Learning Technologies (TLT) and Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE), and GIS services. This space includes consultation spaces, meeting rooms, usability lab, an audio recording studio, and a video recording studio.
  • Family Reading Room: This reading room is specifically intended for use by U student parents/guardians accompanied by children under the age of 12. Room includes four desktop computers, Apple TV, and two reservable family study rooms. A lactation room that can accommodate up to four people and child-sized furniture, books, a train set, learning activity toys, a whiteboard are available.

Note: Food and drink are permitted in the library's spaces unless otherwise noted.

Reserve a Space

Reservable spaces within the library can be reserved on our website.

Study rooms/areas can accommodate between 2 to 45 students 

Rooms can be reserved for 3 hours per day per student and can be scheduled 10 days in advance.
