Utah Physician PubMed Full-Text: Overview

The Eccles Health Sciences Library at the University of Utah is spearheading an initiative to enable Utah-licensed physicians (MDs and DOs) to retrieve full-text articles from PubMed without encountering a publisher paywall.

This service began in January 2024, and is being funded by continuing grant support. We anticipate continued funding, but services may be discontinued if funding becomes unavailable. We appreciate your interest in this project.

Limitations
In order to provide access for all Utah-licensed MDs and DOs to the article delivery service, we have established certain limitations:

• This service is limited to a cost of $100 per article. Requests that exceed $100 will not be filled.
• There is a limit of 150 articles per calendar year, per registered user.
