Art in Utah
Utah has a large number of art galleries, museums, and art dealers. Not all art galleries offer appraisal services, but they are a great place to pick up information on an artist or a piece of art. The following links will take you to a number of websites that have compiled lists of the galleries in Utah. It is by no means a complete representation of all the galleries in Utah.

- Artists of UtahFounded in September of 2001, Artists of Utah is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization headquartered in Salt Lake City Utah. The organization was created to serve as a communication nexus for Utah's visual arts community. Artists of Utah maintains current online directories to artists, exhibitions, and galleries in Utah.
- Art-Collecting.comA great resource for finding galleries and appraisers in Utah and throughout the United States.
- Utah Arts & MuseumsThis website is maintained by the Utah Arts Council. It highlights a number of exhibitions, museums, and galleries throughout the state. This site is worth checking often because it is updated on a regular basis.
Art Museums in Utah
- Utah Museum of Fine ArtsThe current iteration of the UMFA opened its doors in June of 2001. Located on the campus of the University of Utah the UMFA serves as both University and State Museum. The collection includes over 17,000 different objects spanning over 5,000 years of history.
- Kimball Art CenterThe Kimball Art Center is the heart of Park City’s historic and vibrant arts community. We are a non-profit center for the arts, committed to engaging individuals of all ages in diverse and inspiring experiences through education, exhibitions and events.
- LDS Church History MuseumThe Church History Museum of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints collects and displays Latter-day Saint art and artifacts from around the world.
- Springville Museum of ArtThe Springville Museum of Art is one of Utah's oldest and most respected museums. It is home to thousands of works of art. The museum's mission is to promote the appreciation of fine art in Utah.
- BYU Museum of ArtThe Museum of Art on Brigham Young University's campus is one of the largest and best attended art museums in the Mountain West, the Museum of Art offers a dynamic exhibition schedule that includes displays of its permanent collection, world-class traveling shows and unique temporary exhibitions.
