Case Studies
Evaluating strategies and initiatives in self-declared "green businesses" is often a good way to approach learning about sustainability in the business domain. Interviewing the business executives and entrepreneurs behind these companies would offer insight and primary source material to inform research papers and projects. Try assigning students to look into these local businesses as case studies:
- Mark Miller Subaru/Subaru of America
- Boeing Salt Lake
- Staker Parsons (Brigham City)
- Le Croissant Catering
- Caffe Ibis (Logan)
- Resorts: Park City Mountain Resort and Sundance Resort
- Treasure Mountain Inn
