You can use EndNote X20 on the Mac and PC computers available in the second floor Knowledge Commons computer lab. However, because these computers reset when you log out, you need to save a copy of the library you create and save it on the cloud or on another device so that you can access it again. You can purchase a copy of EndNote Desktop for free if you are a student or for $22 a year if you are a faculty or staff member from the Office of Software Licensing.
For additional training about how to use EndNote X20 or other EndNote products, visit the EndNote Training YouTube page.
If you want to use the feature to have EndNote try to locate full-text versions for you and you're off-campus, you'll want to use a feature that lets you specify the U of Utah's off campus access . Under the EndNote Preferences, on the Find Full Text screen put in the following information.
The OpenURL path is: http://utah-primoprod.hosted.exlibrisgroup.com/openurl/UTAH/UTAH-S?
Authenticate with URL link is: https://login.ezproxy.lib.utah.edu/
