Utah Division of Air Quality (DAQ)
DAQ has a mission is to safeguard human health and quality of life by protecting and enhancing the environment. It is the responsibility of the DAQ to ensure that the air in Utah meets health and visibility standards established under the federal Clean Air Act (CAA). DAQ issues permits, engages in planning and enforces complience with rules and regulations.
