Genetic Science Learning Center at The University of Utah

A multi-disciplinary database which offers information in many areas of academic study, Academic Search Premier focuses on a range of subjects including biology, chemistry, engineering, physics, psychology, religion/theology, and more. This database provides indexing and abstracts for more than 8,500 journals, with full text for more than 4,600 of those titles. PDF backfiles to 1975 and earlier are available for over one hundred journals, and searchable cited references are provided for more than 1,000 titles.

Scopus is a large abstract and citation database of research literature and patents. The database is updated daily and contains over 65 million records. Scopus indexes more than 21,500 peer-reviewed journals from more than 5,000 publishers, including 4,200 open access journals. Scopus also indexes 360 trade publications, more than 7.2 million papers from 83,000 conferences, 1,100 book series, and 120,000 books. Additionally, the database contains 27 million patent records from the US Patent & Trademark Office, the European Patent Office, the Japan Patent Office, the World Intellectual Property Organization, and the UK Intellectual Property Office.
