- Carbon Dioxide Information Analysis Center form the Dept of EnergyCDIAC's data holdings include estimates of carbon dioxide emissions from fossil-fuel consumption and land-use changes; records of atmospheric concentrations of carbon dioxide and other radiatively active trace gases; carbon cycle and terrestrial carbon management datasets and analyses; and global/regional climate data and time series.
- Climate Data from NOAAComprehensive open access to current and historical climate data from NOAA; search by weather events like droughts, severe weather, etc; locations; datasets, etc.
- Community Health Status IndicatorsFrom the CDC, A web application providing health data about all counties in the U.S. Includes social and environmental factors of health.
- Current Population SurveyA monthly survey of approximately 50,000 households conducted by the Bureau of the Census for the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The survey has been conducted for more than 50 years. A detailed demographic supplement is conducted annually in March, and supplements on other topics, including computer use and school enrollment.
- DataONEData Observation Network for Earth (DataONE) provides earth observational research data from academic and research organizations.
- General Social Survey (GSS)The GSS contains a standard 'core' of demographic, behavioral, and attitudinal questions, plus topics of special interest. Many of the core questions have remained unchanged since 1972 to facilitate time-trend studies as well as replication of earlier findings. The GSS takes the pulse of America, and is a unique and valuable resource.
