Medieval Books and Artifacts at the University of Utah: Introduction

Introduction

This guide lists primary sources for studying the Middle Ages available on the University of Utah campus. It includes medieval manuscript leaves, incunabula (early printed books, also known as incunables), facsimiles (modern reproductions), and art objects from the Marriott Library and the UMFA. These items are primarily from Europe and date from approximately 400-1500 CE, though some items from the Middle East and the 16th century are included.

This guide is under construction and new resources will be added throughout the semester.
