EndNote Basic and Desktop support: Science Direct

This guide describes how to access and use EndNote Basic, a citation management system, and gives a brief overview of the desktop versions of EndNote

Downloading Citations from Science Direct

a. Do your search in Science Direct and select "Export Citation" on the item you'd like to download.  Then, click "Export citation to RIS".

b. Sign into your Endnote online account and hover over the "Collect" menu item, then click "Import References".

c. Set up the import functions.  Select your file, change "Import Option" to "ScienceDirect" and set the "To:" dropdown menu to your desired group.

d. You should now see a success message and a link to your downloaded citations:
