EndNote Basic and Desktop support: Downloading from Google Scholar

This guide describes how to access and use EndNote Basic, a citation management system, and gives a brief overview of the desktop versions of EndNote

How to download from Google Scholar to EndNote Basic/Web

For Google Scholar Citations

a. Go to Google Scholar and click on the "Settings" link.

b. Click "Show links to import citations into:" and select "EndNote" in the dropdown menu.  Click "Save".

c. Do your search and click on "Import into EndNote"

c. Open EndNote Web and hover over "Collect" on the top menu, then select "Import References".

d. Set up the import functions.  Select your file, change "Import Option" to "Endnote Import" and set the "To:" dropdown menu to your desired group.

e. Look for a message showing the import was completed successfully. You can now click on the blue highlighted group link to go to your group.
