LabArchives ELN for Education

Starting Spring 2023, the U now provides a site-license for LabArchives ELN for Education.

LabArchives ELN for Education is designed to facilitate and enhance teaching and learning. Although it is primarily designed for science courses, it can be used for any structured course.

LabArchives ELN for Education offers a variety of tools that enable educators and students to create, manage, and share digital laboratory notebooks, lab manuals, and other course materials. The platform provides a secure, centralized location for all course-related content, allowing students and instructors to access and collaborate on experiments and data from any location, at any time.

Because the Education module works as an extension of LabArchives ELN, it supports any file type, including inline support for text, images, videos, and Microsoft Office documents. In addition, LabArchives ELN for Education can be integrated with other educational technologies such as learning management systems (LMS) and electronic lab equipment.

LabArchives ELN for Education offers features such as templates, workflows, and version control to streamline and standardize laboratory procedures. Instructors and Teaching Assistants can also use the platform to provide real-time feedback and grading. Additionally, the platform offers built-in security and compliance features, such as role-based access control and audit trails, ensuring that sensitive data remains protected.
