Music: Marriott Library
About the library
The Marriott Library is located up the hill from the School of Music near the University Campus Store. The Marriott Library has a large collection of circulating scores and books on music, a fine arts and architecture library, and some special collections that also have music content.
Circulating Scores and Books
Circulating music books and scores are located in the "M" call number area of the general stacks on the library's 1st floor in the compact shelving units. The collection is easily accessible through the West Entrance, which is on the 1st floor. See this map, below.
Dumke Fine Arts & Architecture Library
The Katherine W. Dumke Fine Arts & Architecture Library is located on the second floor of the Marriott Library, just east of the Knowledge Commons. The library contains a lovely reading area and a Fine Arts Library Collection (also called the showcase collection), which does include some music-related books and scores. When searching in the library catalog, you may come across items that are in the showcase. The staff in the Dumke Fine Arts & Architecture Library will help you access those items. Staff at the Knowledge Commons is also able to assist.
