Selecting the "Theme" for a site will influence the aesthetic design of your site. There are several options to choose from, but we recommend the Marriott Library Default theme. Do not use project-specific themes such as UMFA default theme or Century of Black Mormon's theme unless you are working on those projects.
The Marriott Library Default theme has many customizable features. The below screenshot is only showing a snippet of the options, but there are options to change font and background colors as well as font types. Colors must be input in a 3 or six digit hexadecimal color code. There are a number of resources online to find such color codes, HTML Color Codes is freely accessible.
Navigation layout of the site pages can be changed from the standard vertical top row to left side.
There are many customization options, including metadata display on on item record (see Item page Metadata display) and a site-wide custom of the item showcase media display feature (see Item Showcase Style).
